Where? 2 days a week at the office in Amsterdam or Enschede. Of which at least 1 day a week you are  based from our brewery in Enschede, there is an opportunity to work from home at the remaining days. 32 - 40 hours a week.
With who? A high profile role reporting to the Europe & International Head of Internal Audit and dotted line to Grolsch Finance Director, providing leadership to one Internal Auditor!

As the Internal Audit Manager…
… you lead the Internal Audit function for Royal Grolsch and Asahi France and support the broader Asahi Europe International Internal Audit team. Your goal? To support the local management of Grolsch, Asahi France and the wider Asahi Europe & International business to control our business processes and associated risks. How? Through your ability to understand our organization, its risks, opportunities and drive continuous improvement. With your excellent analytical skills, you evaluate the effectiveness of business processes and the internal control framework, based on your analysis and exceptional stakeholder management skills, you make impactful recommendations to advise the business on how to improve.

You will do this by:

  • Providing management with business focused advice about risk and meaningful assurance over internal control systems;
  • Building a deep understanding of our business, its processes, their risks and opportunities;
  • Coordinate and execute Audits, investigations and special projects, establish priorities to meet the agreed deadlines;
  • Being responsible for the application of the Group Internal Control (‘IC’) methodology and ensuring the performance by periodical testing of IC controls;
  • Supporting the implementation of policies and procedures towards full compliance;
  • Being ready to lead and contribute towards an exceptional and high-performing international team.

Besides that, you know how to influence people, because of your excellent communication skills. That is one of your greatest strengths! You are not afraid of complexity and you know how to set priorities.

What else will we find in your CV?

  • A completed financial university education, preferably MSc. Accounting, a completed Chartered Accountant (RA/CA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) would be an added value;
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in an Audit or Risk Management setting, preferably with experience in managing a team;
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with execution of (internal) audits;
  • A strong personality and excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all layers of the organization;
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a collaborative working style. Track record of contributing positively towards successful teams.
  • Excellent people management skills and ready to contribute towards an exceptional and high-performing team;
  • Fluent in Dutch would be an advantage!
