Management Traineeship Programme

Management Trainees
Grolsch offers opportunities to young graduates who are exceptional in terms of intelligence, personal qualities and entrepreneurial spirit. Our active Management Development, which lasts almost three years, prepares young graduates for future management positions at Grolsch. The programme is based on the duties and responsibilities applicable to one or more specific positions.

Programme

The first weeks of the Management Development programme focus on making acquaintance with our business. This enables you to get to know all facets of our brewery, our products and our business culture.

Following the introduction programme, on-the-job training will begin. You will start as a management trainee in a function with its own particular responsibilities. For example, you may assume a position as an Account Manager in Hospitality, a Demand Planner within Retail, an Engineer within Operations or a Financial Business Analyst. You will be allocated personal responsibilities as of the very first day, and your immediate superior will function as your coach.

The jobs do not adhere to a fixed pattern - they are made to measure. In consultation with you, we determine what steps will offer the greatest challenges and how feasible these steps are within Grolsch. Evaluation interviews are conducted regularly with the coach and HR. Naturally, we also focus on development. The second-year programme contains a management/junior management course provided by a renowned training institute. In general, the development opportunities are dependent on the nature of the function, the likely next step and the particular knowledge/competencies necessary for the function. You will play an active role in your further development. Upon successful completion of the Management Development programme, you will be assessed in order to determine whether or not you are suitable for management at a higher level.

Who are we looking for?

We are on the look-out for excellent students from all universities who will be graduating soon or have recently graduated. The programme specifically focuses on developing either marketing and business-economics skills for our commercial organisation, or laying a clear technical or technological basis for the organisation of production and logistics. A semester or internship abroad, a managerial function or side jobs that testify to management skills are very useful in helping you stand out from the crowd.

Grolsch is an attractive employer that makes your personal development a high priority. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are hungry for responsibility and wish to invest in their own development. You are focused on continual improvement and you are at your best in a changeable environment. It goes without saying that you have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
